Sunglow Motley Jungle? Need opinions!!

muramorphs Jun 28, 2012 08:12 PM

Hey everyone ive been going nuts trying to figure these two out. Im in need of opinions for these two. I believe one of them is a jungle there just so different from each other but at the same time i haven't seen to many Sunglow motley's in person expescially as babies. one has a ton of color that the camera won't pick up and the other is just clean and crisp with tons of contrast. The sire is a Sunglow jungle and the other Sunglow jungle in the litter didn't get the crazy pattern but has all the other signs, so i think that what making this tough
Thanks for any help

Thanks for looking, Scott

My money is on the one with the longer tail stripe, a much more 'ivory' background and much more colour.

Both equally stunning animals though!

The one with the long tail stripe has several Jungle qualities... I would see how he/she colors up over the next for sheds.

Both look great though!

They both look very nice!

I would guess that the one with the lighter colored 'ovals'
inside the dorsal pattern is the jungle.

I had a motley jungle litter & this seems like a 'tell' but
the only real way to prove this will be to breed them. The
other thing I noticed is the line that separates the dorsal
pattern from the sides seems much clearer and distinct on
what seem to be the jungle motleys.

To me they both have some jungle look to them, but the lighter one I'd say definitely is one.
