...of my three bluestar males, two of them were almost totally silver/white when juvies....they got names like "Ghost" and "Cloud". Cloud has been slow to color up, he is about a year old now and he is finally showing some blues, he looks very similar to Squig. Ghost is....different. He has a different sort of head, the longer snout you might expect to see on a yellowhead or even one of the insularis type species. He went through several color changes, at one point becoming a VERY intense teal color with very vivid orange/red bands, and later changing to an eerie pastel aqua color. NOW he has remained a pretty standard bluestar blue, so that's what he gets called LOL. My third bluestar male, "Hamlet", colored up early to a distinct tourquoise and gets a nice deep blue now when fully warmed up. All of them were basically black and white when very young. None of them ever had a trace of yellow contamination LOL.
