A couple of my holdbacks (Chain kings)

mturner01 Jun 29, 2012 03:04 PM

Here are the pair that I finally chose as holdbacks out of my South Georgia clutch. This has been the dream clutch of eastern kings, 15 out of 16 took undoctored, live pinks the day of their first shed!
The female

The male

Did you remove the pics from your photo site?

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!

There is some funny technical cliche that AOL doesn't seem to respond well to. even being able to view your site address when it is directly copied and pasted into the URL address bar, it doesn't work, but with Internet Explorer and many other browsers, it seems to works just fine. I'll bet it is the older version browser I am using, that's all. I think Jorge's might be an older version too. I only use mine because it has ZILLIONS of my "favorites" saved on it over the years..LOL!

Man!,..you have some KILLER Easterns on your site bro. I just love those Edisto Island Mosaic's!!. Did you get yours from Kevin Enge by any chance? I was drooling over a couple of his he had available last year.

Anyway, great lookin' stuff man!!

I agree! Those Mosaics are killer! I wish you East coast guys would get more into them. Yep, its your guys fault. lol

Thanks for the kind words. I love easterns and have for quite awhile now! I'm excessively picky about them, so I'm glad to see nice babies.

The Mosaics are great, too. I just hatched 13 of them from two of the parents on my site. Lots of awesome, extreme variations in the clutch, but they just crawled out of the eggs. I see some stripes and maybe a much-reduced pattern, but tons of speckling one? Crazy. I'll post pics soon.

Also, I'm waiting on my New Jersey clutch to shed. They are breathtaking if you like classic chain kings that are indigo black with pencil thin, bright white chains.

Even your website is blank for me. I will have to check it out later, with FireFox.

I couldn't see anything but red "x's" using my aol browser, but when I used IE they were there. Here's one of them, and they are both REALLY nice looking southern phenotypes!

Congrats Matt!!..

Said the blind man! Those are killer! I especially like the F-1 female yearling with the bright white bands on your site. They are all nice, but the Mosaics are my favorites. I also liked the Speckled Kings, as I have a soft spot for them also.
