Common Sense tells me this egg is done for, but I've heard people say that they've seen ridiculous looking eggs still hatch. I kind of want to see if it'll hatch, but I just don't want to risk the rest of the clutch for it. So far it isn't molding or anything and it's set off from the rest of the clutch, but it's really wet already dimpled and just looks terrible. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are. There's only about 20 days left for this clutch.

Yeah...I'd toss that egg. Candle it first, but I'd call it safe to say it's dead.

Do you mean nope it's done or nope don't give up on it? I remember one of your videos where you said to smell the eggs. I did take a good wiff when I was letting are in yesterday. It didn't smell bad.

If you want to be on the safe side cut a small flap - with 20 days left you should see a wiggly baby inside - if you see stinky gunk you know it's not good - if there is a baby put it back.

That's pretty much what I've decided. I didn't really want to cut because I never have before, but at this point I'm looking at 50/50 at best at there being anything in there anyway. So for the sake of the rest of the clutch I'm going to just scrap the egg, but cut it first.
