hi everyone. so i just ordered a 2 mnth old hog island boa baby from s&s exotics and it was shipped through fedex.. well something happened and the plan was delayed so instead of getting my snake this morning at ten thirty ill be getting it tommorrow at ten thirty. im really worried because idk whats gonna happen to my snake. do u think she will be ok being in a box for two nights instead of one?

She should be, as long as the temps aren't too high/low. Make sure to hydrate her immediately and then let her be in her cage when you get her. I hope you contacted the shipper (S&S) as well.

It's not the best situation, but as long as she was shipped in an insulated box with a heat or cold pack (depending on ur weather) and has holes in the box and container she's in (or in a bag) to breathe, and is kept in an indoor facility she should be fine, when u get her I'd check her over quickly, if she's cold allow her to warm up to room temp (unless you keep ur house cold) for a half hr or so then put her in her cage to warm up completely, and then let her be for a day, just to ease the stress, u don't have to do it all, its just how I do things here, good luck, I hope for the best

thank you everyone. i just got her. she was cols, at first i was woorried that she didnt make it, but i put her immediatly on her heating pad, all she seems interested in doing is staring at me right now though. this is my first snake, so im very nervouse that everything has to go right and that im doing everythng ok. i want to pick her up so bad, but i will have to wait.
