Pyros and Fencies

Lizards just born. This makes 17 babies so far with more eggs hatching.

Dotz/Mazar's clutch hatched 7-15 to 7-18. Seven robust babies. The eighth egg died half way through gestation and when I opened it I found a fully formed but very tiny hatchling. ??? I guess sh*t happens, but am most satisfied to have the seven good ones.

Next pyro clutch due August first.

Love the Fencies. When I was around 10 these are what sparked my interest in reptiles. I use to catch them in a wood pile. The adults around me thought they were venomous because of the blue bellies. NO one could tell me what they were. So i had to educate myself in the school library. I was catching Eastern Fencies.

Very nice Bob. I have a clutch of alternas and a clutch of corns, all due to hatch about the 2nd week of August.
