I am looking for info about the xenosaurus lizards. Perhaps where to purchase them? also what calcium supplement brand do you reccomend?

I dont have personal experience but heres some info I found

four lined plated lizard
scinetific name:zonosaurus qaudrilineatus
range:madagascar
adult size:15-16 inches
life span:supposedly 24 years
terrarium size:1-2 of these can be kept in a 50-75 gallon
terrarium type:dry savanna or aridland
social structure:communal
diet:insects and fruit

you might also be able to get some info on the yahoo plated lizard group.I belong to it and it is great.

madagascar plated lizard

range:madagascar
length:15-20 inches
terrarium type:rain forest
temperature:80-90 degrees farenheit
food and water:eats insects,small lizards,rodents,and some plant material.needs a large pan of water for soaking and drinking with a drip system.

food and water:natural diet is ants,termites,and other small insects.Prefer ants or small crickets in captivity.supply a large pan of water for drinking water and bathing.a drip system is beneficial.
special needs:sunlight probably beneficial.add vitamins and bone meal to the food given to the crickets and ants.
young:live bearers,young 1.5-2 inches at birth.
