couple clutch pics

As of 2 a.m. all 6 of the mosaics are out of the eggs, the albino mosaic turned out to be an albino banded (there's still an albino in a egg so I'm hoping for a albino mosaic there lol) and there's 1 egg that still hasn't pipped.

The mom was a mosaic, the dad is a (mostly) banded albino. Out of the mom's 2nd clutch of eggs only 2 of them are still good, and the other cal I have that double clutched laid 9 infertile eggs... So I guess the male is only good for the first round of the season.

Most of the babies were "fully mosaic", this one has some spots and stuff.

Very nice Mike. I really like cal. king mosaics and have been wanting to add one some day.

As far as your male, possibly you kept him too warm after the first breeding. That would account for his diminished fertility. At any rate too bad about the second clutches.

Funny how the albinos turned out, one striped, one banded, and everything else normal colored was aberrant. lol Maybe next time. It was still a very nice clutch.

lol yeah man, I can't complain. I wasn't expecting albinos at all and I got 2, this is exactly why breeding snakes is such a cool thing to do. And exactly why I love working with cal kings, there's so much of a variety.

Perfect stripes are pretty cool Mike!

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!

What's wrong with using CAUTION?!?!?!
