Should really consider cutting till atleast day 55...relax...its a waiting game always is...
We wait to get them big enough to breed...
We wait while they breed...
We wait for them to lay the eggs...
We wait for them to hatch...reason most cut eairly because its the one thing we can control...lol
Then they hatch and we start all over again....

I agree! Wait til day 60 as mother nature intended! Just remember, regardless when you cut them, they're not coming out til THEY'RE ready!
The question in my mind was: why cut early? Unless I am sure that I can look in the little window then identify and fix the problem inside the egg, there is no point in opening them early. What would you be looking for when you cut? How would you fix the problem to make the remaining 10 days of incubation successful?

Every morning you wake up excited and go check to see if any eggs have pipped, the morning after you cut you will wake up depressed because the anticipation is over. Trust me those last several days are the most exciting, so just enjoy it. That said, I have cut early several times too, lol, usually day 53-55. However, I usually regret it. It's tough to have will power, but the times that I waited and then one morning see little heads poking out where the more rewarding.
