Two Clutches of eggs in one week by the same female????

psilocybe Oct 05, 2003 05:54 PM

My female laid some eggs earlier last week (probably 10 days ago), but unfortunantly i didn't catch them in time and wasn't able to save them. I looked again today (exactly one week from when i found the eggs), and there were two more. This female is isolated so i know they are from her. They are much smaller than joefro's females eggs, and i'm guessing they probably aren't fertile...has anybody had any similar experiences? I fed her today and she ate ravenously, two layings in one week, it must have drained her! Any feedback would be appreciated..

I had a female earlier this year lay clutches 10 days apart, her average though is 14 days.
