Late Honduran Clutch

scaledverts Jul 28, 2012 12:14 AM

My hondurans bred later than I had expected them to. My female just dropped this clutch this morning. They all look good, we'll see in 60 days or so!

The pairing was an anery (pos het albino) to a hypo high black (unknown genetics otherwise, second picture).

Cheers,

That's a very unique looking animal. Very cool. I saw a couple of posts from the king snake forum, and as Doug pointed out it takes a bit longer for the hondurans to hatch. I haven't had any hatch before day 70 or 71 and up.

Thanks, I would have thought it was similar to kings so that's good to know that it takes a bit longer. That will certainly ease my mind on days 60-70 haha.

Looking forward to seeing what you get Kyle. I have another clutch just starting to pip, and then a couple more clutches.(Hondurans, that is). It has been an exciting season for me.

Congrats! That looks like a great big clutch you go there. Post some pics when they emerge.
