Its a combination of three different locality types of Cal king. All three types are from southern cal.

The lack of dark markings and the white comes from the founder female, which was a wild high desert high desert black and white(60 to 70% white) from California City area. She was bred to two seperate lines. One line was San diego Striped and banded. The other was a Newport recessive morph(striped down the top, banded on the sides and blackbellied)

The high whites are mainly products of the high desert and the San diego. The high yellows are products of the high desert and the Newport.

Of course you must understand, those were the stock that produced that morph. It took many generations to reach that extent of pattern.

Also, what has happened since the original types were produced, I have no way of knowing what has happened.

So, to make it simple, its a Cal king, Its the product of several natural occuring color morphs from Southern Calif. I hope this helps. F
