Second Pyro Clutch Happening...

and here is the first baby as of this morning, another one hatched and two more pipped with heads out, and four others to pip any moment.

Will post better picks after they all hatch.

Thanks, Bill. I didn't get any babies with this 08 mama lst year for some unknown reason. Not even any eggs although she mated with a fertile sire.
But this year she has pulled out all the stops with her first clutch! LOL!
Here she is full of eggs this spring.

Can't stop now! Four hatched and six to go! Every other out of the egg seems to be high band count, with the others looking more like the father.

Baby number nine out this morning.

Not as many bands as that number 8 (a keeper for sure!) but still a nice little snake. One more to go, not pipped yet but is alive. I wonder why they hatch over a period of five days even though they were all laid on the same day.
