Look what I hatched

john dhont Aug 02, 2012 11:59 AM

I don't know if you guys remember that I hatched a bullsnake that looked different than the normal ones in the clutch.
Its 1 year old now and this are pictures of how it looks now.

As you can see it has somekind of a pink/purple head and looks somehow as a hypo. Its a male.

This is how it looked like as a baby

I was hoping on another baby like that this year and look what crawled out of the first egg. Not yet shed.

Look at the color of the head and the strange pattern. Seems as this is the same thing as last year and its a female at first sight.
Don't know what it realy is but I like it.

I sure would like to see what happens when bred together. You just may be on to something interesting, John.

I'm Dutch. Somebody shoot me.

I hope so Herman. Looks as it has a zipper on the back and if you look good at the one of last year you also see it a little bit in the middle of the body. Maybe a zipper over the whole body can be possible when bred together. I wanted to sell the parents but maybe its better to keep them and hope on more like that to hatch in the coming years.

Heck yeah John that is cool. I was would say its some new type of Hypo. A Typo Hypo!?... if you will. It lacks black and is light colored. I like how it looks like someone took an eraser down the back .

Congrats John. Pretty cool

Jason

Thx Jason! That the parents are multiple hets (albino, snow, whitesided and now those hypo's) makes futures breeding with them even more interesting. They have some nice mix of genes in them.

Ths Lucas, I think it can be intresting for the future.
Its not only that strange pattern on the back but the sides also look different from normal.
