So, how do those genes work? Was the dad het for jelli or however it works?

Some one please correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is how it I understood it to work.

Jellies are an example of incomplete dominance.

Jelly x ANYTHING = 1/2 your clutch being het PB and 1/2 being het amel because PB, T-neg, and jelly all share the same locus on the chromosome and all three traits are allelic with each other.

Jelly x normal = 50%/50% hets

Jelly x morph = 50% jelly, 50% double hets

Jelly x 2x morph = 50/50 3x hets

Jelly x 3x morph = 50/50 4x hets

PB to T-neg = all Jellies
Jelly to jelly = Jellies, PB and T-negs
Jelly to PB = PB and Jellies
Jelly to T-neg = Jellies and T-negs

That is correct Doug. That Hypo flame is his Grandfather, not father, that was my mistake. I paired him with a jelly female and one of his parents is carrying the T negative gene and one is carrying the PB gene. Both are carrying Hypo and Flame is a line trait. I do not believe Hypo is being expressed in this animal, only T Negative, PB, and Fengya Flame.

are not hypos?

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!

No, no relation to hypo except for the fact that they combo well with the Hypo Gene. I have Lavender Flames, Snow Flames, Hypo Flames, Hybino Flames, and now Jelly flames. The flame gene is a very strong line trait that expresses itself either a lot or a little in each baby.

Thanks, that's one morph I really know little about. I have been wondering what the difference was, from hypos.
