Yes, from the Lloyd Lemke import around 84'. The average ones are buckskin, the nice ones are really gold and the lightest ones can be actual yellow in their prime. Here is the Sire and Dam. The flash washed both out. He is super gold and she has kind of a peachy/pink lateral tone. These are definitely different than the Surinames, Guyanas and many other Brazilian lines that I have had. For one thing, on those, the peak length usually decreases going toward the tail over the first 2/3 of the body. On these, the peak length usually increases going toward the tail over the first 2/3 of the body. Also, these tend to be more inquisitive and pet like than other locality Boa constrictors I have had.

Thanks for the info MIke!! They are so damn beautiful!!
I love the the Bat Freak, not that there is any in the litter that I'm not drooling over!!
You can tell the flash really washed out their colors because the whole pic has a washed out look. Little peaky gems!!
Again congrats on a fantastic litter!!
Take care,
Charles

There were 30 good sized babies but three were still born all choked up in hard yolk material so, 27 live unless I missed one.
Killer litter Mike. Some for the Peak Freaks for sure!!!

I would kill to see Lemke's orginal imported animals! I bet there were much less diversity. This is an amazing litter nonetheless, congrats!
I was on a work assignment from the east coast back in 1985 and had a 6 month stay right near where Lloyd and Sunnie Lemke lived in Visalia CA and did not even know. Many times while I was out there I had this dream of this guy with tons of snakes in his house. I was a snake freak from 5 yrs old but did not discover the hobby until 91'-92'. I wish I knew as I would have paid him a vist. When I later found out, I thought it was weird that I had those dreams. Anyway, there has always been a lot of diversity with these and boa constrictors from Brazil in general. Just look at the Lemke North Brazilians. They look much different yet their tail patterns are short as well. I started out collecting Brazilians and propably had more lines than anyone I have heard of. The country is huge and has a wide range of habitats. Search "Jiboia" on Youtube and you can find a lot of different looking wild Brazilian boas. Here is a link to just one sample http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJm_pieU5uw
That's a great story Mike!
I couldn't agree with you more about the diversity in Boas of Brazil and that we have only seen a minute sample of what is in Brazil. Brazil is the 5th largest county in the world right after the US and covers nearly half of South America. So to say we even have a grasp on all the variances of the Brazilian Boa is a naive statement. From the different locales to the variance from East to West and North to South from Higher elevations to lower and so on. If you think about it all the lines of Brazilian Boas that have been in the US are just from basically a small hand full of animals hardly a representation of the Boa throughout its range. And you should know this best having worked with the most lines of Brazilians than anyone. It really puts a different perspective on the ongoing debate of Bcc from Guyana and Suriname two vary small countries separated by a river and not some imaginary line like so many have based there argument on. Then to think about all the biological barriers within Brazil separating the Boas to have formed distinguishing looks from other boas within the country. Anyway I think you get my point at least I hope so. LOL..
Again congrats on such an outstanding litter! Also I have checked out all your photos of the Brazilians you have worked with and bred in the past and amazing is an understatement, I just wish you were still working with some of them. Or someone else hopefully kept those lines going and they just didn't fade away that would be a shame.
Thanks for sharing the pics and info Mike!!

This is all I have to say about all of those babies. Boy I wish I had some extra cash right now as I see a lot of babies I would kill to have. Well I guess I did have one other thing to say. LOL
Take care
