I have always enjoyed my prairie kings (ks locale) and thought they were underated pets. I have recently came to appreciate mole kings from my neck of the woods in the same way. These animals are a joy to handle, beautiful, and have the same laid back temperments as their western cousins.

Hope you enjoyed them.

I have found quite a few this year. I have found that these animals, much like the LTT I find, live in "pockets" and once you find the pocket, well you get the picture. Mark and I have talked via email and I plan on working something out with him so we both have each others locales. Funny how some of you mentioned the "anger look" they have. When I first saw a pic a mole king many years ago in a field guide my first thought was "man that looks like a mean snake"!!! Nothing could be further from the truth. I have yet to be bitten by mine and they did not even bite when I found them. Just awesome snakes.
