Collecting Corns and Kings in Florida

sincityretics Oct 05, 2003 09:04 PM

Is collecting cornsnakes and kingsnakes still allowed in florida? Do you need a permit? If anyone could fill me in who has personal experience that would be great

Though some lower keys cornsnake populations are protected. No permit is necessary to collect.

Do not collect in county or State parks, wildlife refuges or in the keys or State forests. Get permission first from landowners too.
