AMBANJA COLORS

micky-kennie Oct 05, 2003 09:56 PM

When do ambanjas get their full colors, specificaly their blue? I was looking at one that was about a year old with nice vertical bars, showing a good amount of red on the bars, but was more of a duller greyish backround, not blue. I was wondering if this is normal and if it will get more background blue, or if by age 1 they are pretty close to their full grown colors? Thanks!

Panther's colors will usually improve past a year of age. I kept taking pictures of my first panther at a young age up until now, and they get better and better and now I look back at pictures I had taken a long time ago and they look really dull compared to the new ones. Depending on the panther, colors will improve up intil at least 18 months of age or more. Most of the best breeder chameleons are a few years old, and have amazing colors.
