after a while (about 87 degrees from 72 after an hour)
and it uses a lot of water, i only have mine running for 2 hours a day (an hour at dawn, and an hour at dusk except in shed) and I have to replace about 3.5 cups of water each day

BTW I use it for my MHD not the snake, my daughter just damps up the substrate under the warm hide
