Dino, my biggest girl, occasionally makes it to the top of the flourescent light fixture on a lucky leap. The lizards seem to know not to jump at the basking lights, they're hot. They aren't so hot that you burn from a real quick contact though. The flourescent fixture isn't hot at all.

None of the other lizards have gotten up there that I know of, I've found Dino up there 3 or 4 times. They've all grown a fair amount since the first time I saw Dino get up there, but even she doesn't seem to make it with any greater frequency. I'm guessing as they get fatter, they get enough stronger to be able to jump the same height still, not higher....

Anyway, I don't know why I posted this, but I did....

That looks to be a pretty good jump. Dino must be a very acrobatic girl! Nice setup, but I didn't see any collareds in it!

They must have been all asleep for the evening when that picture was taken.

lol you dont think the heat lamps are hot??? i almost lit my room on fire, put it down on my bed for a second, forgetting it was still on, look over and theres smoke coming up, now theres a decent sized hole in the blanket and mattress, oh and i burned myself on it a few times...
