A hot one in LA again

bakeaway Aug 19, 2012 07:28 PM

wow the heat wave in LA is still here...yes i know it is summer. So to keep my snakes alittle cooler in the day i tried something.
I used those ice packs and wrapped them in a towel. Many of them layed on them. Then I put them on of each snakes hides. And they used it. I have A/C in the bedroom and have taken them there at night.

Good idea. And its always good to have a bowl of water big enough for them to crawl into. By snakes start going into the water once it gets over 85º.

That's nothing, I don't start getting hot until I've been sitting in a car with the windows up for at least an hour in 120º temps in Death Valley CA. hahaha
