I was suprised when this weekend an old friend can to visit me and after seeing my proud faimly anounced that I was nuts!!!! She then went on to tell me I have too many pets..
So I was just wondering, what does everyone eles think is too many pets?
This is what I have.........
5 snakes(three are my boyfriends)3 kings(Luna,Star,Solor), 1 garter(Gunther), and 1 ball(Shy)
6 beardies(one is my room mates)...Pandie, Dargo, Spike, Pebbles, Shade, & Bee-bil
2 water dragons (Zen, Haiku)
2 dogs (Ruddie, Kash)
2 cats (Star, Khan)
How bout all of you?...are we all "crazy"??? (LOL)

i think you only have too many pets if you cant get them all the care and attention you need, you neglect your spouse or children, or you feel like youre going insane

If you have time to see to all their care, and time to work, spend time with children/spouse/boy/girl friend and for yourself, you are fine.

I currently have 4 mice (plus 3 babies but those are going to be food for my snake so won't count them), 2 Guinea Pigs, 1 cornsnake and 1 bearded dragon. I want to get 1.2 or 1.3 crested geckos and another bearded dragon...but financies are putting me on hold for new purchases. Once I have my own house, most likely get more.

HA! Check out My Signature for My list of creatures. But the others are right, Unless you can no longer afford them, or are neglecting your other responsiblities to your family, You can never have too many. As long as both creatures and family have a QUALITY life, what's the harm? You're just keeping yourself out of trouble.

Only when it starts to affect the quality of life of any of them. I get asked about mine a lot because I work in a petstore.
We've got a dog, a cat, a betta, a guinea pig, a red eared slider, and the 5 dragons (4 beardies and a rankins). Now,I only have complete responsibility for the dragons. The guinea pig and turtle belong to my younger sister (she seems to be going the same direction as me). Don't worry about what others think, only get worried if things start going wrong with your animals.
