Lets see those adult brooks?

OZZZ Sep 03, 2012 07:15 PM

Hey everyone,

Im shopping for a brooks as we speak and it would really help me if I could see some adult pics of some of the more common morphs.

What Ild really like is a anery het for another gene or two (doesnt really matter) but Im looking into Jelly's, Flames, PB's, Ghosts and some others.

Anyone have any pics of their adults Jellies, PB's, Anery's, Ghosts and Ild really like to see a pic of an adult Flame??

Thanks in advance, the babies change so much in appearance from when their born to adulthood its hard to tell what they will ultimately look like.

Thanks!

You should really talk to Zenny or Don, they're the best floridana breeders out there. They have the nicest morphs and really know all about the history of them. Good luck!

I go this drab guy from Brandon Osborne a few years back.

Don't overlook the nice Bicolor look though. Got these from Scott Koonts over at Uwharrie herps.

Mightn't that second picture confuse people who think this thread is about brooksi?

BobS Sep 04, 2012 01:09 PM

Nah. I see it as a black and white kind of thing. Lol

* Seriously though, I figured he knew enough to differentiate from the question. If I'm wrong sorry. ( The black and white king above is an Eastern Kingsnake poster.)

No problem guys, Im aware its an eastern

Its gorgeous too!

Easterns are such a crapshoot it seems... as far as dulling up to the point of uglieness as adults. I see quite a few that dont, but so many do so its a bit of a turn off taking a chance like that.

mbrawley Sep 04, 2012 01:18 PM

Pretty much. I get confused every time anyone posts anything OTHER than Brooksi. Afterall, isn't this supposed to be the Brooksi Forum? hahahahahaha!

I actually think the baby brooks are better looking than the adults, as they do tend to become faded from their sharp and contrasting colors, as they age.

However, I could not pass up these two brooks:

Love Line hypo brooks-sub adult:

Jelly brooks-sub adult:

Those really are outstanding examples of Brooks. I really do not think it gets any better than that. I am dead serious.

Yeah man. It's weird too, how as the seasons slowly change, the smell in the air changes too. I walked out of the house this morning to leave for work, and the smell in the air gave me a strange feeling. There's "Fall" in the air.

Crazy how a smell can spark a memory.

Lmao.

You are so correct. Smells can activate certain memories with certain times.

I hope you are healing, brother.

Mark, what's the genetics on that beauty? It looks like Axanthic snow, but not like the Pink Pearls.

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!
