He is the brother to Jonel's "sharktooth" MSP.....that was an awesome clutch overall that David Weymouth produced back then.

But we should stop using MSP...that is the thayeri-phase of L.leonis.

The truly accepted terms are tricolored morph and leonis morph.

The term thayeri should be defunct altogether IMHO.

The term thayeri was never used for a morphological description.

They are all leonis with two phases......tricolor and leonis
Much like alterna have two phases......blairs and alterna.

John,
you know that the original leonis was a smal banded snake , what is called leonis-phase, but the second discribed snake had broadbands and was named thayeri.
Thayeri should be a synonym to leonis.And from that point thayeri should be used for the MSP...i am sure that you know what i mean, but most would not accept it.
