A Few Getula...

Jlassiter Sep 09, 2012 01:53 AM

Yes....Other than California Kings I have other getula....LOL

Many were in shed....I have alot planned next year. We should see some Snow and maybe some Ghost Splendida. The yellow Amel female will be bred to a Double het for Lavender and White Wall Male. Her offspring from 2011 will be paired up to produce some more.
I hope the Green Valley pair throws some nigrita, splendida and california phenotype offspring.
We will be making some definite het for ghost splendida, possibly.....
The california kings should throw some Purple Passions and Platinums.

Well...that's the plans....I hope at least some of that works out.

Here's a pair of offspring from my Yellow Amel Holbrooki:
Het Male:

And my best Amel Female - Getting Yellow:

White Wall Holbrooki Male:

Striped Splendida Male:

Definite Double Het Lavender and White Wall Holbrooki Male:

Hypomelanistic Splendida Female:

Possible Triple Het (Lav, Amel & Hypermel) Cali King Female:

Axanthic Splendida Female:

Very nice! I especially dig all the different favors of Splendida.

Thanks Man....
We should be producing some snows and possibly some ghosts next year.....along with some double hets for each and more axanthics, amels & hypos...

We are also going to see if that striping on that one Splendida is a recessive trait or not.

I am just as excited about the Holbrooki and Splendida projects as I am with my California, Thayeri, Greeri, Mex Mex and Pyro projects....They all keep it interesting for me....

Nice group John. The Axanthic Splendida, and the WW Speck really catch my eye.

Disclaimer: I do keep several snakes in pairs, and some in groups. However I realize that things can go wrong, and I have to keep a close eye on those groups, to be sure they are not being adversely affected by these living conditions. Also if one happens to eat it's cagemate, it is 100% my fault, and I know the risks in advance!

A lot of killer stuff there John, I don't see too many of those white wall speckled kings around anymore. Always thought those were one of the coolest king morphs ever. Can't wait to see some more high yellow albinos too.

Many nice getulas John, but the nigrita KILLS!

I like black snakes...and like a user has suggested in your "retro thayeris" you have placed the best snake on the last position...
