Cypress Creek Golden Guyana BCC litter

kitchi Sep 10, 2012 09:21 AM

This morning my 2nd generation Golden Guyana litter came. The mom was the niece of the original Golden Guyana Girl (who only had two babies and a ton of slugs this year of which most she ate like a Green Anaconda) that stood out from the other litter picks in 2002. This girl also stood out as golden in her litter in 2006 that I produced. She had just finished delivering this morning when I took these pics. They are characterized by uniform classic blunt peaked saddles and should be gold with pink/lavender sides and pink/red/wine side medallions and high contrast.

These have the Cypress Creek marker wide teardrop ended head stripe that my orginal breeding group had.

That same huge male with the uniform dark saddles that produced the litter with the crazy red sided female the other day. I never tried it before but him in with both females in a 6 X 3 vision at the same time. I guess being locked in a cage with a blonde and a brunette babe can stimulate the sperm production. I had far less slugs than usual and only one in today's litter. This is the male that I thought was a female for the first few years since he got so big so fast with no more feeding than anything else. I have never had a litter where all the babies look so much like each other and with such uniform patterns.

Nice! He's got one of the most consistent patterns I've ever seen. Is he from the Cypress Creek bloodlines as well?

Surely you jest... lol

From my 2007 litter not 2006.

That sure makes a person wish they had a larger home with room for cages large enough to house some BCC groups!
