>>The white phase and that first one made all the others look ugly. lol Maybe you should have put them last. hahaha That's what happens when you put the best snakes first. The others cannot live up to what has already been shown. Next time end your post with a really nice brooksi.

You, being a "locality guy" should have never picked the most line bred two of the bunch.....LOL....J/K.
I tend to enjoy the retro looking, earth-toned individuals the best now. Since 1997 I've been busting my ass to produce the brightest & cleanest yellow and orange leonis....Now I'd rather have a dingy wild type.....
AND.....
The ugliest leonis beats a "nice" brooksi (floridana) hands down any day of the week.....And no super, duper multi morphs needed to do so.....lmao!
BTW...I'm getting some gifts this weekend from a guy getting out of his Eastern Getula collection...So I will have some again real soon......hahahahaha

>>hahaha Good comeback. Eastern getula? Does this include floridana as well? I can already see you starting to thin out your mexicana stuff and making room for brooksi morphs in the next couple of years.
>>-----
Ewwwww........I just threw up in my mouth a little......but yeah, some floridana stuff....lol

First one and the Pale Milk phase are outstanding John. All are nice, but those two are just standouts IMO.

Thanks Joe...
Too bad they are both males or I would possibly breed them together.....I think those vanishing saddles on white would look pretty darn nice...

Nice to see that white line staying so white. Any hint of a red or green tint? Photo #2 is that the one you got from Troy?

That white male is still looking bright white.
Typically some of them gray out with ontogenetic tipping/speckling giving them them a greenish ting or they turn a light gray.
And yes...that one in the second photo is the female I traded for with Troy. She is looking great IMO.

That is an "F2."
We call him an F2 but the grandfather was not directly from the wild.
His grandmother was found in Mexico.
Vivid ended up with her and bred her for a few years.
This male is from two of her "F1" babies.

The White one is truly awesome. What are you planning on breeding with it? Hopefully one just like it. I would love to have one of those to add to my small collection.

Thanks...
If only I could find a female white leonis......
I don't know what female to breed him to just yet, but I have until the end of next year to pick or find a mate for him.
These won't breed until 2014.
They are on the 3 to 4 year plan.....lol

John,
can you ask your wife for 175 $ ? Then I have an idea...tell her you need the money for new shoes, your wife will understand that...don`t tell her something about snakes!Cause she thinks you allready have enough...more then enough....

You will get the answer via PM, but first you have write down your special "chilie con carne" recipe....I want a chilie that hurts 2 times, first time when consumed and the second time when...a beer doesn`t help.
Later
