Mosaic Cal-king

kenthesnakeguy Sep 16, 2012 02:09 AM

Hi all, just picked up a nice male mosaic from Shannon Brown at the Anaheim show today (thanks Shannon!). Since this is the only co-Dom morph in the cal-king market, is there a super form? I picked mine up to breed into my blue-eyed blonde line. Any pics or info would be fun!
Cheers!

I haven't seen a super form....I have a male on the way myself to mix into other morphs in the future.

But...I'm more interested in the fact that you have Blue Eyed Blondes.
Can you post some pics of them?
Have you found them to be strong feeders out of the egg or not?

They are good feeders out of the egg. However not the garbage disposal that most kings are. I'll get pics soon. I have a few yearlings as I sold my adults to my buddy a few years ago.

There's no super form. This co dominant trait is not like that of a Ball Python.

Thanks Ross! I didn't think there would be. Which is unfortunate, but still a great morph nonetheless. Can't believe it's not more popular.

I was tempted to get a pair as well but had to pass for some Scissors a few booths down. I was really tempted though. How far along are you on your blue eyed blonde project? Vivid stopped working with them. If they are still pure and healthy, you have a rare locality morph on your hands.

Hi Madeline. These are yearlings from adults I raised up 10 years ago as hatchlings from Tim at Vivid. These are still my favorite locale of cal king ever. I think the mosaic form will be incredible! Gotta have projects!!
