I've posted pictures of this snake before, but I noticed something different today when I was looking at her. As she's getting bigger she is developing alot of yellowing on the sides of the belly and she has a nice reduced pattern. I know nothing really about yellow bellies, but I've heard that there are tons out there that people don't even know about. I purchased this snake as a 100% Het VPI Axanthic. Again I have no idea what to look for in yellow belly. Is yellow shadding up from the belly it?

Most likely the Axanthic gene is fighting the coloration...

We have worked with snake keeper line axanthics for 6 yrs now and they nice yellowing you see coming up the side is a common trait that our het axanthics display. (Not all of them but most of them seem to have this type of coloring)
