Wow, looks like a normal (even though I've never seen a black normal), hypo, and amel. Awesome!

Yeah, that's a normal for comparison. I got two albinos(there were 6 but I don't want to get I to that) and that hypo. They were found in two peoples back yards, days apart and only a few miles apart. It's crazy how lucky you can get.

Verry nice, I once made a realy nice tank 60g for small water turtles had a water fall and everything, I made the background and water fall hiding the filter and pump out of cork bark but the bark always stained the water.... is there a way to avoid staining the water doing a project like that??

Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

It's good to have the water a little tannic looking, helps with security. You want to make it harder for them to see each other, if there's more than one. It doesn't mean the water is dirty, just stained, like tea.

Yeah, no kidding they do, I have the scars to prove it. My buddy just sent me this pic of a softy that hatched in Canada.

Not my pic!

Is that a cyclops??? freaky, I've seen two-headed turtles before, but never one-eyed, and the one eye in the middle of head. Tell me im looking at this wrong, and the other eye is on other side of face...dave. love ur turtle pics...

RossPadilla Sep 19, 2012 06:40 PM

Holy cow! I've seen the smaller version of this photo on facebook and thought it was looking down. Now I see it actually has one eye. Pretty crazy.

Yeah, that's too bad, but it was best for the turtle's sake. Didn't look like there was much of a mouth or nose there to live any sort of decent life..
