Let me start by saying that right now I am only interested in keeping my salvator as a pet, but I'm not ruling out the possibility of attempting to breed Waters in the future. With that said and some recent discussions regarding the difficulties with adult introductions, would raising a pair from juvies better prepare the two for possible adult inroductions later on? Let's say I happen to get a same-sex pair, with them being raised together, do you all think that pairing them up with adults of the opposite sex in another year or two would be easier, more difficult because of the possibility of bonding between the two, or do you think it just really depends on the individuals? Do they live communally in the wild as juveniles? If not, at what age do they start to seek each other out? I have seen film of them as adults living both alone and in small groups but is there any evidence that the little ones group up? Any thoughts/experiences?
