Surprise clutch! Need a little help!

valentineboas Oct 03, 2012 05:42 PM

We just hatched out our first clutch and we got a big surprise! So the story is that we bought from the local pet store a ball male which they said was a butter spider. It was clear that it wasnt any butter in it, but it looked different so we bought it. We bred him to a pastel female and we thought that we going to get some spiders and pastels and bumblebees. And we got these. Please help identifying them.
I think we got:
Normal
Black pastel
Spider
Black pastel spider
Pewterbee (or black widow).

Thanks
Travis and Nora

The male looks like a black pastel spider and possibly granite. In the picture of all of the hatchlings, the top left looks like a granite black pastel. The one below it looks like the father (black pastel spider) and the one below that looks like a granite, spider, black pastel, pastel. NERD recently posted a picture of a granite, spider, black pastel, super pastel.

the more i look at it the top left may just be a regular black pastel with some extra speckling. Whatever you've got there its an awesome clutch! congrats
