T plus blonde het Pitaya

zenzinia Oct 04, 2012 10:08 AM

In june, I got another litter I did not show before..
I bred a het pitaya het T plus blonde male to a virgine T plus blonde female I produced in 2007. For obvuois reasons, I used a female that had never been in contact with a male.

I got a small litter even thought there was only 1 slug, the female (5 years old) stays small ( 6 f, under 5 kg) and produced bigger babies than I use to have in the other litters with Pitayas.
I got the expected ratio of mutation combo. At birth the Pitaya don’t have much colors, it start to come after the first shed.

So here are T plus blonde het Pitaya.after 2 sheds.

T plus blonde with T plus blonde het Pitaya littermate.

T plus blonde het Pitaya with het Pitaya.

Pitaya with het Pitaya.

Pitaya with het Pitaya and T plus het Pitaya

Thanks fot looking.
Alain.

Very beautiful stuff. That being said is probably a very low understatement. This has got to be biggest project of color advancement in a selective breeding attempt that I've ever seen. Bravo on such a amazing creation of boa art coming to full bloom.
Thanks for the info/pics
