I was wondering if we could discuss in private any knowledge you might have regarding AJ/Tray Schneller's Ginger and Red Lines.

I am gearing up at the moment to breed either an 06 Schneller Redline male OR a 2010 Sharp Albino male to a recently acquired hypo female and would like(if possible) more insight into the Schneller line before I make a decision.

I can be contacted at suburbanpsychonaut@mail.com

It would be extremely helpful to me if you are willing to share any information you might know. Any info in anyway would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Joe

I like the Ginger Boa's. I purchased a pair of OT Hypo Gingers from AJ in 2007. I had my own litter of OT Gingers in 2010, from his male. I'm putting alot of my keepers into alot of my projects. One of my breedings is gonna be OT Ginger to one of my Sharp Albinos like you. I should have alot of different kinds of Gingers this year.
I like what Warren Booth is doing. The still born he had last season from OT Ginger to OT Ginger was bad ass. I just can't wait to see if there is a super form and if it's a new line of Jungle.

Yeah I love Gingers as well, I also am in love with Schenller's redline and I haven't seen a picture of the Ginger x Ginger stillborn but I've heard nothing but good things. Best of luck with the your Ginger projects and ESPECIALLY your Ginger x Sharp projects.

I just picked up a male Sharp along with my breeder hypo and am already in love with him. Sharpstrains might be hands down my favorite boa morph, especially when day dreaming about successfully introducing other bloodlines for color and/or pattern.

Love em!

...have any pics/would like to share. I wanted one of those 07's so bad but went with the Redline, had just purchased a female Sharp(when they still sold for a ridiculous price) and a pastel het kahl so I couldn't afford one. Wish I could have.

Hi,
I tried to send you an email but it bounced back with a delivery failure.

What do you need to know?

Thats my fault, I forgot to put the "g" in gmail haha.

For future reference: SuburbanPsychonaut@gmail.com

What I am curious about is what exactly it is I have. It is an 06 Redline male purchased straight from the Schneller's website, now, I remember the pair of the resulting 06 Redline litter being of a very red male paired with a normal female, with exceptionally burgundy saddles.

Is this "normal, with burgundy saddles?" a Ginger? Is that what was used to create the merging of the red bodies into the saddles? Or am I completely off base here? Was the female mother of the 06 Redline litter simply a non-Ginger with nicely colored saddles?

Also I'm curious as to(if you or AJ or Trey or ANYONE for that mater might know) what kind of offspring was created as a result of a Red x Normal Breeding(if there ever was one)?

I love my 06 male, he is not ALWAYS red, like I said he's like a chameleon. But when he is red man is he RED and not in a pastel-esque way, but more of a dark, muddy brick-red kind of way-there's not much, if any, reduction in his dark pigments but rather the red just seems to bleed through.

And some days, he's just EXTREMELY creamy looking. I want to use this line but I'd just like as much info about it as possible before I pull the trigger and drop him in with the female. Is it proven to be co-dom, ect.?

I'd love to talk to the Schnellers as well, I used to email them after I purchased one of their Redlines and they were very enthusiastic and open for dialogue about their lines. I even remember them telling me they had some of their Redlines out on loan to... well I'm not going to disclose that info on the public internet but let's just say I was told some of their Red's were in extremely good hands and I'm surprised to have never seen anything come of it.

Any information on the Redline, their lineage, what kind of litters they drop and so on would be appreciated, basically anything you know and are at liberty to share.
