background question...

lele Oct 06, 2003 01:45 PM

...I am currently using a printed background for my anoles (looks like forest) and every now and again one of them seems like she is trying to "get in there." Can they perceive this 2-dimensional background? Should I use just plain brown paper?

thanks,

I need one more info. First of all, is this background new, or did you had it up for a while?

Well, I have had it up for only about 2 weeks.

That sounds like enough time for them to get used to the idea they can't get to it, but, how long have you seen them or it trying to get into the background? Maybe they still need more time if they haven't actually tried before

Mine does the same thing but I bought the tank that way so he was put in there with that. He will try to get into it but I have alot of branches sor climbing and he also climbs under the lid which he likes and goes all around and he will hang from it too!
