Interesting pattern to share

viper99 Oct 19, 2012 12:33 AM

Just thought I would share a crazy baby that just hatched out. Not sure what is going on, completely unexpected result from this breeding.

If anybody has seen something like this I would be curious to hear about it.

Thanks All,

Mark

I agree it's really cool, but I would do the pairing again and see if you get any more before naming it. Just my personal opinion.

That is much different than I was expecting. I thought it would be something that looks ever so slightly different, that is not the case here. Very neat. Good luck with it, work it hard.

There wasn't supposed to be n/p after wow in the subject field of my first post, KS autofill added it when I wasn't paying attention.
This was from the first post.

That is a classic jungle/labyrinth .

They pop up from time to time in clutches, and are most often seen as ch animals from Africa.

A very nice looking animal, but they have not proven genetic in the last 15-20 years people have been trying to breed them out.

Nice looking animal though.

Neat to see one hatched in captivity. Ben Renick hatched one this year as well. I've seen some going through imports, also heard of quite a few over the years identical to this one.

Never proved out like Josh said unfortunately! I think it's typically just an incubation related issue.... basically the snake pattern quit developing. These types of snakes are actually ones I study to learn what I believe is NOT genetic that comes in these days.

Awesome snake tho!
