Good looking animals !
Can you tell me something more about the third animal from the top ? I have a male exactly like it but no history of it's origin.

The earlier Love stock males got real light like that with clear yellow bellies.

Mine is now at 3 years old around 5 foot and a very agressive feeder. So it might be Love stock hypo brooks ?

All the hypomelanistic stock originally came from the Loves when they sold unkown hets to a few folks.

Since 1992 they have been bred quite frequently are are outcrossed into many other lines of Florida kings.

"Since 1992 they have been bred quite frequently are are outcrossed into many other lines of Florida kings"

I totally agree. It's EXTREMELY doubtful that it is a pure non-outcrossed Love line hypo. There is only one guy I know of (or maybe possibly a couple) people in this entire country that have never out-crossed them into any other stock over all these years.

That would be almost like Barczyk's or Porras' original amel L.t.polyzona never being out-crossed with anything else in the hobby...LOL!

Yeah, I don't thnk there are much more pure Love line or Beard line hypos left. I don't think there are much of anything left anymore, with all the WS morphs crossed in now, shame.

That is all the more reason why I love my untouched and pure Love line pure hypo brooks, thanks to John Meltzer:

She has been so much fun to own, and to watch her grow into the beauty she is. My first brooks.

Are you breeding her? If so it would be cool to put her to a f1 or wc Brooksi male. She is a real beauty!

DISCERN Oct 22, 2012 12:10 AM

If I did breed her, I would like to keep that line alive. However, at this time, I have no plans to breed her.
