JACK POT!

Well i mad a little discovery today.(no i didnt find a chameleon just chilling around) And it defenetly shows how adicted and opsesed I am with taking care of reptiles.

I was at the local Wall Mart on my lunch hour (just now) and behind the WM I saw a whole bunch of huudge trees so I decided to go check it out (dont ask) and once i got there, I noticed that these trees had AMAZING vines everywhere, climbing all over the place, on the fence, on the floor, and on the trees. Every sizes (1". 2". 1/2", all shaped in really cool ways, perfect to fit in enclosures. It got me exsited because its almost impossible to find this kind of vines where I live.

So I went to walmart, bought something to cut it, went back and got a whole bunch of them... tonight I will clean them, put them in my frends hudge freezer, and they will defenetly be my next batch of climbing material for my cages.

thats the kind of thing i cant tell my freinds, so I post here, sorry if I wasted your time

"So Gab, why the hell are you so happy after your lunch hour?"
"I found a whole bunch of perfectly shaped vines for my cages!"
"...."

See what I mean?

I know what you mean...
I discovered a cricket ranch about 15 minutes away from my workplace, so I go there about twice a month for my crix. I can't leave 2000 crix in my car, so I bring them in and keep them under my desk until its time to leave. My coworkers and most of my 'friends' just don't understand why I'd spend my whole lunch hour (and $20) for 2000 crickets.
On a side note, about a month ago, a field cricket made its way into our office and began chirping NON STOP. I was blamed for it, but I insisted I wasn't to blame. The cricket was finally caught (after a full week), and it's dead body was posted on the breakroom bulletin board, along with a sign that read "CRICKETS BEWARE!" I tried telling them what they caught was was Gryllus assimilis and not Archeta domesticus that I brought in.
I wonder how they would feel if I brought in some lobster roaches....
