Close to Corpus....
I found 4 out in Live Oak County, TX West of Corpus Christi.
2 were DOR though.
I also found 4 atrox and 3 meahllmorum....fun, little trip.

Thanks Doug....there were alot of them roaming that night...All neonates from this year. Meahllmorum and Atrox too....I found 11 in all...good little trip.

Luckily I kept the first one and it was the nicest. I didn't want to take any more but I felt bad leaving them there since that road was a snake graveyard due to the heavy 18 wheeler traffic. I moved every snake I found off the asphalt. This road wasn't very travelled until now with the Eagle Ford Shale Crude Oil find....
The oil find is huge and is great news for our economy since it allows us not to be dependent on Crude Oil from the middle East. The find is comparable in size to the Prudhoe Bay, Alaska find, but with that good news there is some bad news in regards to the death toll it is creating...

I actually have had a wc Pacific Coast Gophersnake for around 5 years now.....
