thanks doug. he's an '06 and was produced by john emberton at EBV in berkeley. i've had him for a little over three years now and i hope he makes it another 20.

me with an excuse to post yet another picture of Jade, my Black Milk... in case you and others haven't noticed I enjoy putting up pics of her... and all my other milks for that matter. Nice to see someone besides myself willing to admit they have that one favorite snake.

she's awesome looking gerry. i think everyone should have at least one solid black snake in their collection.

Denbar Oct 23, 2012 07:26 PM

This is my new favorite! It may be a "hobby" hondo, but he's good looking!

At time of hatching.

More recent, at 3 months.

very nice dennis. tricolored hypos are very under-appreciated.

DISCERN Oct 23, 2012 10:25 PM

That really has got to be one, if not, among THE most unique hondos I have ever seen in my life. Unreal!!

Thanks a lot. I was very pleased when this one hatched! Her mother used to be my favorite!

Love the white color on that snake!

Very nice!!!

Denbar Oct 24, 2012 09:25 AM

Hope it stays that way. It is a bit lighter than the mom. Time will tell. Thanks Rusty.

Like others here, it is all about my pic of the month!! LOl.. Here is my favorite pic as of late. She is wonderful to handle, they are hard to find, and I think she is beautiful. (MD MOLE)

nice joe. i love me some calm ones.

brianm616 Oct 23, 2012 08:20 PM

thanks jimmy.

that blanchardi is awesome looking. i love the black muzzle.

i've heard they're spastic. does that just mean the typical [bleep] slinging or are they somewhat nippy too?

i have a female that i call ms. bitey. only adult mexican tricolored lampro that's ever bitten me and i've had her since she was a hatchling...

DMong Oct 23, 2012 08:55 PM

Brian, mine are absolute FREAKS as well. They are so nervous and spastic, when you offer food, they toss themselves end over end in exposive jerking movements like a freakin string of firecrackers!!..

They don't really bite, but they are THE most nervous, explosive milks I've ever worked with in my entire life!!

RG Oct 24, 2012 08:28 AM

I've got a few!!!

Sorry, I can't just pick one! How about a couple from each year!

Vanishing Amel_Female (2010):

Triple Homozygous_Male (2010):

Tricolor Mega Hypo_Male...just amazing and probably my top pick (2011):

Vanishing Mega Hypo_Female (2011):

Tricolor Hybino_Female (2011):

Vanishing Ghost_Female(2012):

I'll hold off on my last pick for 2012...I still have two eggs yet to hatch!!! I should be proving out my Triple Homozygous this year!!!

Denbar Oct 24, 2012 09:13 AM

All super Rusty. That Vanishing Mega Hypo_Female (2011)is very interesting looking!

RG Oct 24, 2012 10:46 PM

Take a look at my other post...I have some updated pics for you!

brianm616 Oct 24, 2012 04:10 PM

those are all awesome. i think Tricolor Hybino_Female (2011) is my favorite, only because i've never seen a honduran with such a low RBR count.

RG Oct 24, 2012 10:13 PM

I took this photo back in March of this year, just didn't upload it until today.

The Hybino and the Vanishing Amel from my first post, the Vanishing Amel has really changed in color.

Another of just the Amel, as a neonate (2010):

March 2012:

Orange lightened up and the red got more intense too!
