John, no they are not from Dan's Leopard line. They are from my #9F white leonis bred to a #31 m from Greg Houston. I'll email you photos of parents. Mike

Cool...I wonder if Dan's Leopard Line and White line are related.
I know Michelle has a white leopard from Dan's thayeri.
Great looking clutch. I really like them. One of the best looking clutches of thayeri I've seen all year. Congrats Mike!

I agree, very cool. Please post the parent photos here if you can/will as I'd like to see them also. Thanks.
I thought almost all of Dan's animals were either from the white line (which came from Dave Blody) or were Vivid line. I know he occasionally crossed the two lines as I bought a white line X VR line female from him in 2002. I'm not sure where the leopard's came from. Someone just needs to e-mail Dan, as he is very responsive to e-mails. I'm sure plenty of abberants came out of the white line, and I remember some of the white line offspring being MSP's.
I bought two pure white line males from Dan, one in 2002 and one in 2004. I sold the 2002 male to Mike Kochvar a loooong time ago, and the 2004 to Mike B this past spring. Here is the 2004 Mike B got. as a hatchling and as an adult. And, yes Michelle, I have Dan's OK to post his pic (he says that its good advertising!)

I believe Dan also got some of the "Laredo line" animals from John Cherry.
Many aberrant leonis have popped out of VR animals over the years.
So maybe the leonis ar from the Blody X VR crosses he did.
But yeah, someone should just ask him....lol

Late in the breeding season he get's kinda dingy and ugly! Other times of year he lightens right up. All thayeri get dark speckling to some degree as they age. That pick is in pretty bright light which blows out the highlights and covers up the speckling. Still a handsome snake and I'm glad he is with someone who owns a female from the same line. That line has a great history and it needs to be kept alive.
