I started pairing my boas last Saturday. I wanted to get rid of aspen in the larger enclosures before I introduced any males. I opted for newspaper at first. But it just wasn't what I wanted looks wise. So I added some astro-turf on the top to make it more aesthetically pleasing.
Day one I got copulation between pairing #1. Poss Super Hypo jungle 100% het anery 66% het albino X Anery. I have never seen it happen so quickly. Interesting to me cause last year the same male showed no interest in the same female. His heart must have grown fond with her absence as I have witnessed copulation everyday since and we are on day 10. What a machine!!!
My 2nd Pairing had a slower start. I really didn't have to high of hopes for this pair as both Male and Female are virgins and unproven. But 1 week in and the male has began courting in the evenings. Finally caught full on copulation Day 8. Pairing #2 is Anery IMG poss het kahl x Ghost.
I have a few more pairings in Mind but have yet to introduce the males as I wanted everyone a lil bigger.
