clean up genes?

geckoejon Oct 30, 2012 09:49 PM

hello,

i have seen many bp's that are stunning as hatchlings and then seriously fade out color and pattern wise as they mature.

so... i was wondering which gene does the best at helping to keep the color and pattern bright and crisp?

i have read a few things about the hypo/og, enchi, and fire genes. are there any others that are noteworthy for cleaning up?

which of these does the best at keeping things crisp?

do any of those bring any notable color as well or are they very subtle?

thoughts and feedback are greatly appreciated! thanks...

jonathan

I would add vanilla and orange dream to the list as well.

Agree with all prior posts. Would add Sulfur. Some refuse to recognize this as separate and distinct from the Fire, but I respectfully disagree. As to color enhancement, if the gene you are adding it to has any yellow in it, the Sulfur influence seems often to amplify that. Not always so good on pattern crispness though, especially towards the posterior portion of the pattern. Luck...Dave
