I wanted to share a recent experience I had with buying an iguana from an advertisement I found on this website. I wanted a blue morph iguana, and found someone here that was selling a couple.
I contacted Jessa from ABExotics through email about the advertisement, and had a reply in just a couple of hours. She even sent pictures of the animals she had. I chose the one I wanted, and she guided me through what I needed to do next.
I was initially kind of nervous about purchasing a live animal through the mail, but throughout the whole process, she made me feel very comfortable about it. She answered any questions I had very quickly.
She shipped exactly when she said she would, and it arrived the next day. I received my iguana on Tuesday, October 30th. Other than being a little cold, it looked like it was in really good shape, and very beautiful. It was a little lethargic after the trip, but after an hour or so under the heat lamp, everything seemed normal. He is alert, bright eyed and looks very healthy. I couldnt tell if it ate the first day I had it, but yesterday it ate a lot, and pooped, and as strange as it may sound, it made me very happy!
In short, I would highly recommend ABExotics. The overall experience was very plesant, and I am very happy with my purchase!
