For those of you into milk snakes here is a nice locale-specific Sinaloans (Lampropeltis triangulum sinaloae) from Cosala, Mexico. Dave Niles gets all the credit for producing the clutch.

Thanks for looking!

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously

Thanks Dave! I am glad you like them. Neat locale..... I am contemplating whether or not I should get involved with more Lampropeltis triangulum sp. At the moment space is limited. I heard that Jeff got a new bloodline of L. t. gaigae. Did you get a pair from him?
The Sinaloan milk snakes are a treat to have in the collection. I am glad I was able to get my hands in a pair.

Take care!

Hey Orlando

Of course my advice will be for you to get into more lampropeltis Triangulum!! Lol

I did get a pair of the locality gaigeae that Jeff has. Mine are F2's. the original adults have GPS coordinates as to their locality! Neat stuff.

Tom

He is a Belem, Brazil Red Tail Boa born on 8/12/2012. The litter was quite interesting as 8 out of 14 had interesting tail patterns. Gus Rentfro gets all the credit for producing the adults in 2004 and 2005.

After a few hours from being born........

Adults....

Dam 2004

Sire 2005

I remember that clutch of Brazilians now. Do you still have the one that was 1/2 striped from the head to mid body and if so is it a male or female? I would love to see what that one looks like now.

Take care

Tom

Here she is..

Unfortunately, she didn't make it (almost 24 hrs after the Dam had the litter). It seems as if she aspirated amniotic fluid causing her demised (IMO). That is what I found after doing a necropsy.

Take care!

That's to bad about her as she would have been very nice to have in your collection.

Is that 4th pic a longtail (longicauda?)? What is under its lower jaw? Do you produce these for sale? Thanks.

Marc,
Yes it is. The lower mandibule is fine but what you are seen is an old battery in the dirt. We have two female ready to go for the 2012-2013 breeding season.
Take care!
