A couple of season parting shots from:

My large adult female San Diego...

and my large adult male Great Basin...

Both are now down for the winter and will not re-emerge until about mid February.

A two year-old female Sonoran...

...and a three year-old male San Diego...

They related, "Adios until sometime in February..."

Those are all really sweet-looking Pituophis. Clean colors and patterns!

Your pituophis collection has grown, what with all the nice snakes. Its sort of nice to have thm all asleep for the winter and then in the spring bring them out and start warming up and feeding; it is almost like getting all new snakes!

Keeps growing every year too, just as I say "I won't get any more", I end up eating my words. Three new Pacific gophers this year, a new bull last year, and so it goes. If I end up pairing Ahnuld next year, I sure I will want a nice female from that pairing and I may hatch some Sonoran eggs and some SD eggs (if I can find a suitable male for my female. So, you see where this is going. May need a custom snake room soon...

They are all supreme specimens, but that Great Basin is my favorite!

Thanks Billy! The late day sun did bring out his true colors in ways that I've not managed to do indoors or otherwise...
