On behalf of hockey fans across the globe, a recent situation arised that I think should respectably be brought to attention. About a week ago, ten minutes from my home town, two players from the atlanta thrashers were involved in a very serious automobile accident. The passenger, Dan Snyder, who was only 24 years old, died last night in the hospital from severe brain trauma. The driver was going about 80 miles per hour down a back road when he lost control, tore his vehicle literally in half, and ended his friend's life. I am deeply saddened by this incident and think it should be brought to everyone's attention. Speed kills, and things like this make me second think exceeding speed limits late at night. It is a risk not worth taking, and this young and successful player is a prime example. Please everyone be careful when driving, and give your condolences for the lost life of this great person.
