The sad thing is, that whole ordeal was just represented in such an amateurish way that even if it is a real heritable trait, many doubts have been cast upon it based on the way John introduced these to the public and because of his extremely defensive attitude when challenged about them. Of course the challenges only happened because of his inability to offer any explanation on how he even proved it out as a co-dominant trait, so it was weird that he'd take such offensive if it were indeed a true morph; I'd only expect that kind of attitude from someone that was misrepresenting something, not saying that he was, but it's generally the response likely to be given. You'd think that if he had the evidence to prove the genetics to the rest of us, then he'd be more than happy to present his evidence and proving his work on them rather than acting out like he did with his snarky comments and jacking the prices around on them just to prove whatever bizarre point he was trying to make.
After all, the pictures and video (when available) were intriguing enough even though several people pondered whether the pictures could have been photoshopped or not. But honestly, they didn't look all that enhanced to me based on the rest of the surroundings which looked quite untouched and normal in terms of color. Oddly enough, the Youtube videos he once showed us have been taken down and I don't think he really posted any pictures of the EVO's on the forum, or if he did, they are no longer viewable. I would think that if a person had discovered a new morph, that they would keep everything up and online for the world to see rather than just popping up one time in the classifieds announcing a new morph, showing off a few pictures and videos and then shortly after removing all evidence that they even existed. It just doesn't add up.
Either way, based on John's behavior over all of this, even if the EVO's are a real morph, I'd be very hesitant in wanting to do business with him.

I am not sure what John is up to now. However, I did email with him some time ago and he still had a few. He isn't a bad guy to deal with one on one privately. Back when he was introducing the "New Co-Dom" he was under alot of stress, newly married and child on the way.
I did negotiate what I thought was a fair price for 1.1. The price I offered was based on the fact that until proven they were just a nice green hog. The male is said to be a "green" AKA "the new co-dom" and female the "Super Form" or "EVO". None of that really made a difference to me or the deal. I am just partial to green hogs. I have green hogs from Dan Eby, JMG and Vinny Farailo.
I will try to post some pics. and maybe comparisons soon. Any thoughts on how you might breed them would be good input. I am not trying to prove anything out. I just like input. I am thinking about pairing the "Evo" with a red conda and the "green" with an axanthic.
It may be a while though. Like John said they are or seem to be a small line of hogs. I can pull some stats. and post with the pics.

Well I really hope you did not pay too much more than you would pay for a pair of nice greens anywhere else.
Looking foward to your photos.
Gregg,
Thanks for the reply. I hope to hear from you on other subjects as well.
Like I said, we paid what I felt was a fair price for green
hogs. They do seem to be a bit smaller though. Between 8.5.12 @ 6 grams and 12.8.12 after 25-30 feedings (of 50% XSP X SP) they are at 12 and 16 grams. We will submit the pics. A.S.A.P. However green they look is of no concern to us though. I dig GREEN man! Like I said before breeding ideas or theories are appreciated.
