problem breeding

jeffmcdaniel Dec 13, 2012 10:14 PM

Im trying to breed my virgin male for the first time, he is a 3 year old well sized male, the female is 5 years old also well sized. My light and tempature cycles are correct, they are not famaliar to each other, but when i put them together neither one seems interested in the other. So il separate them for a few days and reintroduce him, and still nothing. Is their anything i can do to get them breeding?

Try throwing a shed from another male in there, or another male, or try misting them with warm water, if still nothing remove to feed and keep them separated for a week or so and introduce them again and just keep doing that until you see action, in my opinion nothing is gonna happen until the female is ready and sends out her signals and that regardless of the time of year, I've had a litter in the end of August so just keep at it till you see some action.
